Hadimba Devi Temple

Hadimba Devi Temple, locally identified as Dhungari Temple, also popularly know as Hadimba Temple. It is located in Manali, in the state of Himachal Pradesh. it is a very old cave temple devoted to Hadimba Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahābhārata. The temple is encompassed by a cedar forest called Dhungiri Van Vihar at the foot of the Himālayas. The image of the deity is built over a giant rock jutting out of the ground which is worshipped by the people. The structure was built in 1553. Apart from all this, for all nature and peace lovers, Hadimba Temple is just a miracle. Being a serious interesting story in itself, the Hidimba Temple is gradually pulling tourists from everywhere throughout the country to its gate where history and legacy meet natural beauty.
