The wonderful Blue Mountains National Park – another UNESCO World Heritage Site – is a well known day trip from Sydney. It is named after the blue dimness radiating from the numerous eucalyptus trees, which is a marvelous all encompassing perspective to view! One of the most celebrated places in Australia, you should visit this park.
The park has 6 sections, each of which is individually known as Katoomba, Blackheath, Glenbrook, Lower Grose Valley, Mount Wilson, and Southern Blue Mountain.
