
The Basilica of Saint Michael is an assigned UNESCO World Heritage Site. The basilica took 200 years to build, from the fourteenth to sixteenth centuries. The church represents a pleasant unity of architectural style, described as " Rayonnant Gothic" (The thirteenth-century French style of lavish Gothic engineering). From the highest point of the free-standing belfry, you can take in eye-catching all-encompassing perspectives on the city.
